We will have our first meeting this Sunday night (11th) at 6:30pm at Walnut Creek Intermediate school. In order to meet our association training requirements, no excuses are accepted for missing meetings and fines will be assessed. In an emergency if you can't make the meeting, send an email or call me or Dave Cutaia.

The primary reason for our first meeting is for returning officials and transfers to take the 2005 CCFOA Qualifying Exam. You must pass with a score of 80% or higher to receive game assignments. The majority of the exam questions will be taken from the Pre-Test available on the CCFOA website.

A continued emphasis this year is to make welcome our new offiicials. We have more than 12 "new guys" that have joined the association for the 2005 season. Please go out of your way to introduce yourself to them, answer questions, and make them feel a part of our group. This week, many of us will work with guys that are working their first football game. Be a positive influence on their first game.

If any veteran officials have officiating clothing/gear in good condition that you would like to donate to new officials, please bring them to the meeting on Sunday.

A final reminder: all that need to pay dues or fines - take care of your business no later than Sunday.
