Mechanics Adjustment - Box Formation for Kickoffs
The August newsletter incorrectly presented the various positions of the box
formation for kickoffs. As delineated at our clinic the box formation is as
follows:
| HL | - back with the R on the opposite sideline at approximately the 20 yd. Ln. |
| LJ | - at the receiving team's restraining line (usually the 50 yd. Ln.) |
| U | - at the kicking team's line (usually the 40 yd. ln.) on HL's side. |
| R | - deep with goal line responsibility opposite HL. |
Assignment Sharing
No final decision has been made as to sharing assignments with other
officiating groups.
