Dear Fellow Officials,
As most of you are aware, one of our fellow officials, Ron Strickland, passed away suddenly after a heart attack in February. About a dozen CCFOA members were present at his very moving funeral. The Association provided a large basket of beautiful flowers for this service.

President's Message
On behalf of your Board I would like to welcome you to the 2001 CCFOA season. Please become conversant with the contents of this newsletter.
Dave Jurkiewicz, has establish our independent web site with the domain name (www.ccfoa.com), and all future CCFOA newsletters will be published on this web site by the first of each month and on Tuesdays following our meetings. If you do not have web access, please have a fellow official provide future newsletter contents or ask Dan Leary to mail you a copy.
Board members are continuing to investigate the possibility of incorporation to further separate the membership from personal legal action. It is anticipated that this will be concluded by the season's beginning.
The Board is also exploring the idea of engaging a hall (i.e. Elks Club) in which to have this year's banquet. If you know of a site with a reasonable rental charge, please contact a Board member.
One of our fellow officials, Ron Strickland, passed suddenly of a heart attack this past February. Please respond generously to the appeal letter above.
