Youth Rules Highlights

18 J    Shoes       In all divisions, non detachable, rubber molded cleats are required. All shoes must be in good condition. No screw on cleats of any type will be allowed. If a player is found to be wearing illegal shoes while participating in any game, he / she and the Head Coach will be ejected for the remainder of that game.
 
ARTICLE X1 1    Medical personnel       The home team shall be responsible for the presence of a licensed EMT, LVN, RN, DOCTOR, Licensed Chiropractor or Licensed trainer. This person shall remain on the field, not in the stands and must be identified by a hat, armband or jacket.
 
20    Game Duration       A limit of ten (10) minute quarters will apply to all divisions.
 
27 C    Excessive Scoring Margin       Once a team has scored a twenty-four (24) point margin, the game will go to an automatic running clock immediately after the second (2nd) half begins. Once the running clock has been gone to, the clock continues to run even if the score spread decreases to less than twenty-four (24) points.

     Coaches code of conduct      

9. Together with game officials be jointly responsible for the conduct and control of the team, fans and spectators. Any fan that becomes a nuisance and out of control shall be asked to leave.

10. Shall not uses abusive or profane language before anyone connected to the game.


Youth football games will be covered by the High School rules except when in conflict with the Youth Football Rule book, however we will continue to use the old high school timing rule for all youth games.

Miscellaneous

PAT - kicked (2 points), Run or Pass (1 point)

Numbers - Teams may have a problem with jersey numbers (eligible-ineligible). Under no circumstance can an ineligible number catch a pass.

Tobacco - No tobacco at any time. This will include drugs and alcohol.

Communication - Deliver prompt, clear, concise information to the head coach.

If you have children playing youth football you are prohibited from officiating their games or any other games at your child's level. In addition, if you are involved with a particular youth football program, you may not officiate their games.
